According to a news release, local entrepreneurs Patrick and Lauren Dye ran GEST golf carts' free shuttles between The Banks and Over-the-Rhine and from JACK Casino to Music Hall this past weekend, as the streetcar was out of operation for several days.

GEST is a free service paid for by corporate sponsorships, which include cart exterior signage and on-board digital opportunities.

The Dyes plan to operate GEST from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday (weather-permitting), and they plan to expand to support local events and daily transportation around Opening Day in March.

The company is also recruiting drivers. Apply and learn more about GEST at the website here.
