High School Insider: Talking La Salle Sports Stag and Baseball Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers

The year’s first WCPO High School Insider Podcast episode is jam-packed with news and analysis. We spoke with Princeton senior forward/guard Darius Bazley during practice just minutes after he was selected to the McDonald’s All American Game Tuesday afternoon on ESPN.

TriStateFootball.com’s Greg Shoemaker offered his perspective on the numerous football coaching moves this winter and gave insight into the college recruiting scene.

Plus, La Salle Director of Alumni Relations Barrett Cohen spoke about the 41st Annual La Salle Sports Stag which will take place Jan. 31. The special guest is Baseball Hall of Famer Rollie Fingers. Former Reds pitcher Bronson Arroyo will also be in attendance.

Stag chairman Ryan Murphy also discusses what it’s like to plan such a significant event at La Salle and what type of feedback the committee receives in booking special baseball guests.
